Eurograv in management restructure: Mike Attard new managing director

Following the early retirement of managing director Alan Attard, a management restructure has taken place at Eurograv Limited. The UK-based sales and service supplier to the global print and packaging industry has appointed Mike Attard to the position of managing director with immediate effect.

Eurograv was established by Robert Attard and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2021. The company is sole UK and Ireland agent for some of the world’s leading manufacturers, including Uteco Converting, CBG Acciai, Cason, Camis, D.W. Renzmann, FEBA, Grafikontrol, Lang, Laser Clean, Maklaus, Pure Loop, and Reifenhauser, supplying wide web flexographic and gravure printing presses, film extrusion lines, plate mounting equipment, doctor blades, recycling machinery, and other ancillaries to its large customer base of flexible packaging producers. Leveraging its highly regarded expertise and experience, Eurograv is involved in all aspects of the process from press development and installation to supply, service and support.

“Alan has been an integral part of this company for over 40 years, and he has done a fantastic job leading Eurograv to become a trusted supplier throughout the industries we serve,” says Mike Attard, who is also taking over as sole owner of the company. “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Alan for all his hard work and wish him all the best in his well-earned retirement.”

Alan Attard comments, “After more than four decades in this industry, the time has come for me to hand over the reins to Mike, who himself started as a flexo and gravure printer back in 1986. It has been an amazing journey and we have built an incredible business together. I will always be grateful to my father for giving me the opportunity to be part of Eurograv’s success and I thank all our customers and suppliers throughout the years for their support and trust that Mike will receive the same for the future.”

“As we turn to the next chapter in the long history of this company, I would like to assure our customers and partners that Eurograv’s main goal remains its focus on full customer satisfaction. I look forward to continuing working together with our small but potent team and suppliers to ensure that we always achieve this goal originally set by my father back in 1971,” concludes Mike Attard.
