Durst will present the world premiere of the new P5 X printing system, the first flatbed printer entirely developed by Durst that combines all the advantages that have always distinguished the technologies of the South Tyrolean manufacturer, with unprecedented versatility, extremely high-quality standards and a highly competitive price/performance ratio. This exclusive system, which perfectly integrates true-flatbed and roll-to-roll printing capabilities, has been designed to respond to the needs of the Italian market, defining new standards in terms of productivity and versatility for the mid-range segment. P5 X is the ideal solution both for those approaching digital for the first time and for printers who aim to update their machine fleet to expand the range of applications and, consequently, the business. The new P5, entirely made in Europe, allows to print on a wide variety of small and very large materials, always guaranteeing the highest quality. The configuration will be completely open and includes 10 colors, special effects, 3D printing, fluorescent inks, varnish, extra gloss, roll printing and dual roll, offering application versatility that further increases its creative performance. The use of Durst software and high-performance proprietary inks also ensures maximum production efficiency, in line with Durst motto “Production Excellence 360”.

In the Durst exhibition area at Viscom, the new printer will be joined by the P5 350 HS, the flagship of the P5 series for large format. This solution, already widely recognized and appreciated by the Italian market, combines superior print quality and advanced industrial productivity thanks to exclusive features such as Multiroll and Multitrack 6 technology, which allow the management of up to six print queues simultaneously. Configurable up to 10 colors, the P5 350 HS is perfectly suited to create special applications, including “Day & Night” effects and multi-layer relief prints.

Both solutions will be operational throughout Viscom 2024, to allow customers and potential buyers to directly appreciate their exceptional performance, supported by the team of the Italian Sales Division. In addition, the stand will host a vast gallery of applications created not only with Durst solutions, but also with Vanguard Europe printing systems, which continue to generate great interest in the market.
