Three converting and embellishment lines running live at the show demonstrated how CARTES responds to an advanced market focused on diversification, automation, ease of use and stronger returns on investment.
At LOUPE Americas 2026, CARTES chose to put live technology demonstrations at the centre of its presence, transforming its booth into a fully operational application and production environment.
Three diferent converting and embellishment lines ran throughout the show, allowing visitors to experience CARTES technologies in real production conditions and to evaluate finished labels first-hand.
Building on its established presence across North, Central and South America, CARTES brought a GT365WHFSR from the GT360 Series, a GEMINI GE363WJ2L equipped with JET D-SCREEN digital embellishment and laser converting, and a standalone GEMINI GE361L Star laser die-cutting unit.
Particular attention was attracted by JET D-SCREEN (JDS), CARTES’ digital embellishment technology, which enables special efects including spot varnishing with diferent thicknesses and three-dimensional metallic efects.

Strong interest was also generated by CARTES’ laser converting solutions, including its patented Invisible Laser Cutting (ILC) technology, which provides high production flexibility without the need for conventional cutting dies.
“In designing our presence at LOUPE Americas, we started from what truly makes us unique: our ability to build modular and scalable embellishment lines that are easy to use and ofer short setup times, while creating outstanding labels and packaging in a single pass,” explains Enrica Lodi, Chief Marketing Oficer at CARTES. “Rather than simply describing this capability, at LOUPE Americas we wanted to make it tangible for every visitor who chose to put us to the test, without prior notice and at any time during the day.”
The live demos allowed visitors to see the machines running and assess the quality of the finished labels directly.
This turned demonstrations into practical discussions about specific applications and production projects, providing CARTES with a direct view of the requirements emerging across the Americas.
“This year more than ever, customers and prospects from across the Americas engaged us in challenging discussions, each reflecting diferent production priorities,” says Virgilio Micale, Sales Director at CARTES. “While South American converters showed particular interest in the versatility and scalability of the GT360, North American converters were looking for new levels of speed and automation, with a strong focus on GEMINI.”
