At a time when production is constantly shifting towards Asian countries, Serviform has created EasyPlot: a plotter that is entirely made in Italy, with comprehensive Italian technical support. EasyPlot comes with the EngView package designer suite, which, with its CAM module, can interface with the plotter and automatically generates the NC file.
EasyPlot is a tailor-made machine for paper processing industries and box manufacturing plants, ideal for producing samples and small series. In addition to its multiple functionalities and high technological content, the new EasyPlot stands out for its great versatility, exceptional user-friendliness and modularity for integrating increasingly complex functions.
The menu control of the EasyPlot is managed via a large-format touch display, from which all production steps can be monitored.
The main features of the new plotter, which can handle all the materials most commonly used by converters, are its speed of up to 50 m/min during processing, a low noise level of 60-75 dB and a power consumption of 12 KVA.

The EngView Package Designer Suite is an integrated CAD/CAM software suite and one of the world leaders in the design of folding carton and corrugated boxes and displays. It is the flagship product of the company EngView Systems, and Serviform has been its exclusive Italian distributor for over twenty years, having installed hundreds of systems.
In addition to its numerous features, EngView includes the CAM module that enables EngView software to be connected to any kind of plotter or any design software to be interfaced with the EasyPlot plotter.

In particular, it allows for the piloting of the machine by means of a click-transfer of designs, the viewing of a plotter’s paths on the screen, the positioning, rotating or mirroring of the design prior to execution, and the automatic splitting of the design into several machine files in the event of the design size exceeding that of the working table. Moreover, cutting and creasing paths can be automatically optimised, and there is the option to manually adjust the calculated paths when necessary. But there’s more than that! The CAM module of EngView can create a cardboard counter crease to achieve perfect crease results on the manufactured sample. It can also automatically generate multiple crease passes and simulate the effect of seal marks on the sample. This innovative software makes it a breeze to set up the tools of a machine, designed for different types of processing. You can manage it all directly and conveniently from a PC. Finally, the feature that calculates the cost of each machining operation is extremely useful.
