The Innovation Alliance: a cross-sector trade fair strategy that from May 27 to 30, 2025, will showcase the diverse world of mechanical engineering. A sector in Italy that, in 2024, is worth over 54 billion euros, with four events – Print4All, Ipack-Ima, GreenPlast, and Intralogistica Italia – spread across 11 exhibition halls and accessible with a single ticket. To learn more, we spoke about with Luca Colombo, Print4All exhibition manager.
Innovation Alliance is a unique format in Europe that celebrates and promotes the design and production capabilities of a strategic supply chain of Made in Italy. Its aim is to cover topics related to printing, packaging, sustainable materials, and logistics, showcasing advanced technologies and innovative concepts to expand business opportunities in an international context.
Print4All, organized by Fiera Milano and promoted by Argi and Acimga, aims to bring together all the players involved in the production and converting of anything that can be printed. From brochures to books, from banners to labels and packaging, from materials to printing and converting technologies. “We expect major innovations, and we are confident that visitors will appreciate the fair’s cross-sector approach. The fair will be a really supply-chain event: the aim is to represent production technologies not in a vertical perspective and for one or a few applications but for all possible applications; therefore the fair is a reference for all types of companies. In fact, we have attracted the interest of large international multinational groups but also of smaller companies, in pavilions 9 and 11 of Fiera Milano 27 countries will be represented”, tells us Luca Colombo, Print4All exhibition manager.
Professional operators, printers, creatives, and designers will have the opportunity to explore the technologies needed for printing, finishing, and converting, but with a practical, application-focused perspective. The goal is to provide insights and ideas, connecting players in the supply chain within an environment where sustainability will be the common thread, with concrete proposals from exhibitors.
The heart of interactions at the fair will be the WeArePrint4All HUB, a dedicated training and networking area where professionals can meet the main industry associations, expand their knowledge through interventions and market data presentations, and, most importantly it will be the area where you can network with the entire large printing and converting community while drinking a coffee in the dedicated bar.
“Print4All will therefore not only be a showcase but also a laboratory for creating new ideas and opportunities for printers, as well as for creative and marketing agencies that design what brand owners need. All of them will also be able to see projects created with the technologies displayed during the event to stimulate dialogue and collaboration”, adds Luca.
Process technologies, packaging, plastic and rubber converting: in synergy
Simultaneously with Print4All, Ipack-Ima, GreenPlast, and Intralogistica will take place, creating an exhibition continuum that is the clearest expression of the trend towards cross-sector collaboration and synergy among complementary industrial sectors. The Innovation Alliance is a concrete system proposal, which will almost build an ideal industrial line.
Ipack-Ima presents materials and process and packaging technologies intended for durable goods and mass consumption. At GreenPlast, we will discover cutting-edge technologies, trends, equipments, materials, and converting technologies, offering a complete and inspiring vision of the sustainability of plastics. Intralogistica is the only event with a comprehensive offer dedicated to the most innovative solutions and automated systems for industrial handling, warehouse management, storage, sorting, and material lifting.
“Corrugated Experience, located in hall 9 and created in collaboration with ACIMGA, ARGI and GIFCO, is an initiative that goes beyond individual exhibitors. This dedicated space will showcase all the stages of corrugated cardboard processing, with real applications and a production line. But it won’t be limited to this, because it aims to provide comprehensive information about the entire supply chain through an in-depth and educational journey. There will be live demonstrations of key applications and expert discussions on market opportunities and technological advancements”, explains Luca.
Materials will also be in the spotlight, to find ideas and bring creative expression to life without limits, but especially because “we could consider material as a bet that printers can use to offer increasingly innovative solutions to customers: in hall 11, we’ll find the PrintMat area with sustainable, biodegradable, or interactive materials, all capable of offering added value to the final product. Many applications made with cutting-edge printing and converting techniques in the commercial, editorial, and packaging fields will also be on display, with an emphasis on customization and sustainable solutions”, concludes Luca.
Converter-Flessibili-Carta-Cartone and Converter & Cartotecnica await you with latest issue in Print4All at Hall 9, Stand E32 and Ipack-Ima.
