The winners of the Vinitaly Design Award 2026<\/strong> were announced on Saturday evening at the Teatro Ristori in Verona.<\/p>\n

\"\"The competition, promoted by Verona Fiere, as part of Vinitaly, recognizes packaging as a strategic tool for brand market positioning and reinforces the identity of wine, spirits, beer and olive oil products. Now, in its 30th <\/sup>edition<\/strong> and renewed under the artistic direction of Mario Di Paolo<\/strong>, the award confirms the increasingly central role of design in building perceived value and influencing consumer choices. During the evening, the \u201cORO DEL SOL\u201d<\/strong> label, created by CARTES<\/strong><\/a> in collaboration with BASILE ADV<\/strong>, received the First Prize <\/strong>at the Private Label category<\/strong>.
\n\u201cORO DEL SOL\u201d<\/strong> is not just a label but a statement of technical capabilities.<\/p>\n

\"\"It was created to push CARTES technology to its limits<\/strong> and to demonstrate how far pioneering engineering can go when printing, embellishment, and converting are no longer considered as separate stages but as one integrated production process.
\nThe label was produced by the GT368<\/strong>, a 22 meters length<\/strong> modular platform machine set with eight<\/strong> units<\/strong> and equipped with more than 20 special devices<\/strong>. All of them are designed to automate on a single pass an entire production running of high-end premium labels.<\/p>\n

\nThe GT360<\/strong> platform allows to transform two blank face stocks <\/strong>into a \u201cwell<\/strong> finished\u201d premium label<\/strong> with the highest added value<\/strong> available, all in a single pass, <\/strong>printed on both front & back sides <\/strong>and ready to be applied on the bottle.
\nThe strength of the GT360 series<\/strong> is in the combination within a single line, of tactile effects <\/strong>of high-build screen printing, braille, hot stamping <\/strong>& cast gold, embossing, label-on-label application, special coatings <\/strong>& lamination, perforation <\/strong>as well as the \u00a0automatic removal <\/strong>of a die-cut window, laser engraving <\/strong>and finally our multiple awards winner, <\/strong>the JDS, our proprietary digital screen embellishment system<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"\"The Jet D-Screen<\/strong> makes it possible to create, with No Tools<\/strong>, multi-level effects up to 800 microns thick<\/strong>, 3D gold effects<\/strong> & Metallic Doming<\/strong> with also variable data printing<\/strong>.
\nThe platform is completed by flatbed die-cutting<\/strong>, semi-rotary die-cutting<\/strong>, and the renowned laser die-cutting technology<\/strong> where CARTES was the first to introduce to the self-adhesive label market back in 1999<\/strong>.
\nThis is a line designed to turn the label into a multisensorial surface<\/strong>, where touch<\/strong> and visual impact<\/strong> with tactile quality<\/strong> and an extremely high production precision<\/strong> work together with positive effects, looking also to get into terms of sustainability<\/strong>.
