After starting out at HP, where she spent several years with the <strong>Indigo<\/strong> team, she moved into commercial and transactional printing markets before joining <strong>Bobst<\/strong>, where she handled conventional, digital, and hybrid press solutions for the label sector in Northern Italy.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cDigital printing, to me, should be scalable, simple and efficient \u2013 not unnecessarily complex,\u201d says Francesca. \u201cWhen I saw the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.converter.it\/en\/the-future-of-flexible-packaging-is-digital-with-fujifilm-jet-press-fp790\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Jet Press FP790<\/strong><\/a> running at Eco Flexibles in the UK, I was genuinely impressed. A single press, supported by a small prepress team, was able to handle a wide range of volumes and applications. That\u2019s a real game-changer for flexible packaging.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In her new role at Fujifilm, Francesca will support Italian customers in their digital transformation, offering reliable, market-ready solutions tailored to their production needs. \u201cWhen you work with digital products, you&#8217;re not just a salesperson. You become a trusted partner \u2013 someone who supports the customer throughout the entire journey, from hardware to consumables,\u201d she explains.<\/p>\n<p>Francesca also reflects on the fast-changing market landscape: \u201cWe\u2019re seeing larger groups acquiring smaller, specialized companies, creating more investment power and a broader application portfolio. Digital technology will be key \u2013 not only for short runs but also to <strong>improve cost tracking, traceability, and production efficiency<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Francesca is expected to play an active role in Fujifilm\u2019s presence at the upcoming <strong>Labelexpo<\/strong>, which she sees as an increasingly relevant platform for the entire packaging sector: \u201cLabelexpo has evolved. It\u2019s no longer just about labels \u2013 it\u2019s about the entire packaging ecosystem.
