The Paper Chain Southeast Asia Expo + WEPACK Southeast Asia 2025<\/strong> will officially take place from July 29 to 31, 2025<\/strong>, at the JIEXPO Exhibition Center<\/strong> in Jakarta, Indonesia<\/strong>. This major international event is the result of a strategic collaboration between two key organizers in the sector: China National Chemical Information Center<\/strong> and RX<\/strong>. Together, they aim to build a comprehensive platform that unites all sectors of the paper and packaging industry under one roof.<\/p>\n

Over 300 companies<\/strong> from across the value chain \u2014 including papermaking, converting, eco-friendly materials, packaging equipment, and end-use applications \u2014 are expected to participate. The event is designed to enhance synergies between upstream and downstream sectors<\/strong>, with a focus on boosting innovation, sustainability, and cross-border cooperation throughout Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n

Southeast Asia is experiencing rapid growth<\/strong> in various packaging-related fields, especially in response to the increasing demand from e-commerce<\/strong>, takeaway food services<\/strong>, and industrial logistics<\/strong>. Technologies such as short-run production systems<\/strong>, corrugated processing<\/strong> and folding carton solutions<\/strong> are in high demand. According to market forecasts, the corrugated packaging sector in the region is set to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 4% between 2021 and 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Among the countries driving this growth, Indonesia<\/strong> plays a particularly strategic role. As the largest economy in Southeast Asia<\/strong>, it offers a thriving and dynamic environment, with a 5% annual GDP growth<\/strong> and access to a regional market of over 600 million ASEAN consumers<\/strong>.
