The most important international event for the Print Media, Publishing & Converting sector, DRUPA 2024, saw SERVIFORM\u00ae <\/strong>\u2013 an all-Italian company and one of the world leaders in the production and marketing of die-cutting machines, software, services and materials \u2013 as one of the main players.<\/p>\n

After a long 8-year forced hiatus from the pandemic, DRUPA 2024 was the perfect stage to launch a revolutionary technological innovation on the market: the brand new double ejection rubber positioning head of Rubbot 2100<\/strong>, the big size fully automatic robot that installs rubber on flat dies. This innovation already holds several international patents.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Compared to the previous model, the double positioning head<\/strong> results in a 30% acceleration<\/strong> of the ejection rubber positioning process, which is known to be a bottleneck in die-making process. In addition, it reduces rubber waste by up to 30%, thereby also optimising costs.<\/strong> It is possible to schedule operations and thus better organise the entire production process and, last but not least, it ensures very high repeatability. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"SERVIFORM<\/p>\n

Rubbot 2100, which was launched by SERVIFORM\u00ae<\/strong> in 2020, is a Pick and Place system on a Cartesian table for fully automatic nesting of ejection rubber on the die<\/strong>. A unique solution with the clear objective of an outstanding productivity increase for diemakers. In fact, it was used in the beta-testing phase in the Group\u2019s diemaker, where speed performance (measured on average piece positioning time) has more than doubled in the period from installation to date.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"SERV_RotaPro_Rubbot_0097\"Rubbot 2100 benefits from fully integrated rubber preparation and nesting software \u2013 Autorubba<\/strong> \u2013 to increase the productivity of the robotic system, without interfering at all with the activity of the CAD office.<\/p>\n

Automatic detection of the positioning of each piece is ensured through the use of a video camera.<\/p>\n

\"SERV<\/p>\n

The Rubbot 2100<\/strong> can process flat dies up to 2100×1400 mm and use up to five different kind of rubber \u2013 all rubber has to be self adhesive, therefore coated with PSA fils \u2013 with rubber heights of 7 to 11 mm.<\/p>\n

DRUPA 2024 also gave SERVIFORM\u00ae<\/strong> the opportunity to present its new corporate identity: \u201cRationalism: what we strive towards\u201d<\/strong> is combined with a new avant-garde graphic theme called MODERNISSIMO<\/strong>. This new graphic concept was not just a visual artistic exercise, but was implemented on a truly amazing tool: E- Runway<\/strong>, the complete catalogue of SERVIFORM\u00ae<\/strong> products well organised and displayed on two high-tech totems.<\/p>\n
