After months of preparation and intense days, the outcome for Konica Minolta after drupa 2024 is absolutely positive.<\/strong> Many machines in production and many applications to admire and draw inspiration from: visitors to the Konica Minolta stand really saw first-hand how the technology of this dynamic company can support them in the digital transformation of their business.<\/strong> Customers and prospects discovered the potential of the solutions<\/strong>, but it was an exchange of information that allowed the many operators present at the stand to observe their activities and understand together the areas of improvement of their printing processes in which Konica Minolta solutions can truly create value.<\/p>\n

The real star was AccurioJet 60000<\/strong>, a new generation HS-UV inkjet printing machine, capacity of 6,000 sheets per hour in B2+ format, to offer extraordinary versatility on many different substrates. Exhibited also the AccurioPress production printing systems, AccurioLabel for labels and MGI finishing systems.<\/strong> Together, to tell a compelling story of Industry 5.0, where the latest technological developments in scalability, reliability, intelligent automation and sustainability converge, while always keeping the human experience at the center.<\/p>\n

During the fair, a two-day event dedicated to Professional Printing Partners was organized and at the end of this Partner Day<\/strong>, Konica Minolta dealers chose to renew their trust by purchasing 29 AccurioPress production printing systems!<\/p>\n

Another excellent news regards the Italian market: the Venetian company Grafica Atestina chose to develop its digital finishing activity with MGI JETvarnish 3D EVO 75<\/strong> and the Roman company PIODA IMAGING purchased the new digital sheet finishing system AccurioShine 3600.<\/strong> Another success that testifies the excellent teamwork and the trust that customers place in Konica Minolta.<\/p>\n

Konica Minolta for the environment and quality optimization<\/strong><\/p>\n

In its path of continuous innovation, the company was the first to carry out important processes and developments of technologies and materials.<\/strong> It was the first manufacturer to test the migration of inks to printed paper at contact with food with T\u00dcV Rheinland LGA Products GmbH<\/strong>, with whom it has been working for over 10 years. Konica Minolta was also the first to develop a polymerized toner, containing almost 10% biomass, significantly reducing emissions during disposal, resulting in a reduction in toner consumption by more than 30%. Additionally, because small, uniform toner particles can be fused onto paper at a lower temperature, energy consumption during the fusing process is also reduced. The Simitri\u00ae cured toner manufacturing process emits approximately 40% less CO2, NOx and SOx than toners produced with conventional manufacturing processes. Konica Minolta was also first in many other areas, such as de-inkability, variable data inspection, highly flexible in-line finishing and air vacuum feeding.<\/p>\n

To optimize printing processes, Konica Minolta offers IQ-501 (Intelligent Quality Care)<\/strong>, a technology that allows you to save time and obtain high quality prints: thanks to intelligent automated adjustments for image positioning and maximum precision in control of the color, IQ-501 allows you to produce extremely high-quality prints and differentiate print jobs. The advantages are evident<\/strong>: savings of up to 300 hours of work per year with intelligent automation of the machines, reduction of waste and returns, reduction of the time spent on accurate front-to-back adjustment and production times, thanks to density balance. Also available is AIT<\/strong> (Auto Inspection Technology), for a fully automated, closed-circuit inspection that detects problems on each single sheet by comparing it in real time with the Master document.<\/p>\n

Taking programmatic printing to another level with artificial intelligence<\/strong><\/p>\n

Also showcased at drupa the latest advances in areas such as programmatic printing, which takes variable data to the next level<\/strong>, with AI-generated content added to applications for personalized and targeted communications.<\/p>\n

Konica Minolta is working with brand owners, designers and creatives to bring innovation to printing at 360\u00b0.<\/strong> At drupa we also saw unique software, including a premiere called \u201cEx Kansei\u201d. This predictive software based on eye-tracking insights gathered from years of research can be used to transform invisible information into value, evaluating human elements such as attention, impression and positioning to analyze what the brain is thinking. Ex Kansei can analyze a wide range of assets important to a brand, including product packaging, website advertising, direct mail, marketing materials, retail and in-store environments, and direct mail. The results arrive within minutes after uploading the assets to the cloud software which quantitatively analyzes and visualizes everything from the attention that a product attracts and the impression it makes, to the harmony of colors, the level of complexity and its positioning.<\/p>\n
