LIC Packaging is located\u00a0in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy, northern Italy.\u00a0This plant has a revenue of <strong>120 million euros in 2023 and provide direct employment to 351 people.<\/strong> The Bertoldo family will remain in the management of the business.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-86440 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.converter.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Saica_LIC-Packaging.jpg\" alt=\"Saica _LIC Packaging\" width=\"567\" height=\"319\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.converter.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Saica_LIC-Packaging.jpg 567w, https:\/\/www.converter.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Saica_LIC-Packaging-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 567px) 100vw, 567px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Saica already acquired a minority stake in the company in 2001, which allowed LIC Packaging to expand its facilities and to approach the international market.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThis operation is a step forward as it allows us to expand our footprint within the Southern European markets for corrugated board, in this case, by acquiring a majority share of the plant in Italy. It is a great opportunity to increase Saica\u00b4s value proposition of sustainable packaging solutions for our customers\u201d<\/em>, said <strong>Ram\u00f3n Alejandro, President of Saica Group.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One of Saica\u2019s 2025 strategic priorities is focused on sustainable growth, developing its business model across Europe.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe time has come to continue growing as an international group and we have found the ideal partner in Saica.
