The merger will create a more effective and efficient group that has a stronger voice throughout the carton industry. This will include several <strong>new working streams<\/strong>, each devoted to driving synergies, improving the associations\u2019 representation and support it offers member organisations.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to announcing the merger, Pro Carton announced its <strong>new board members,<\/strong> who will take their positions immediately: Michele Bianchi, RDM Group &#8211; Andreas Birmoser, Stora Enso &#8211; Andreas Bo, Holmen Iggesund &#8211; Nick Dowling, Westrock &#8211; Nick Fox, Mets\u00e4 Board &#8211; Thomas Kratochwill, MM Board &amp; Paper &#8211; Kemal Ozkirim, Kartonsan &#8211; Jean-Francois Roche, Graphic Packaging International.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Michele Bianchi<\/strong> will continue in the position of President for Pro Carton. <strong>Neil Fox<\/strong> of Mets\u00e4 Board will become Vice-President. <strong>Horst Bittermann<\/strong> will continue to lead the transformation and merger of the two associations in the role of General Director. <strong>Winfried M\u00fchling<\/strong> keeps responsibility as Marketing and Communications Director.<\/p>\n<p><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-57074\" src=\"https:\/\/www.converter.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Michele-bianchi-Reno-De-Medici-3-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.converter.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Michele-bianchi-Reno-De-Medici-3-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.converter.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Michele-bianchi-Reno-De-Medici-3.jpg 567w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/em><strong>Michele Bianchi<\/strong> commented, <em>\u201cthis merger will create a stronger association that will ensure Pro Carton are prepared for the future of the European cartonboard and folding carton industry.
