BOBST announces the completion of the proceedings relating to Bobst Italia SpA\u2019s successful final tender offer for the acquisition of the assets of Officine Meccaniche Giovanni Cerutti SpA and Cerutti Packaging Equipment SpA, including the service company 24\/7 Cerutti Service S.r.l., (Cerutti).\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Based in San Giorgio Monferrato,\u00a0Bobst Italia<\/a>\u00a0is BOBST\u2019s\u00a0worldwide\u00a0center\u00a0of excellence for\u00a0gravure printing, laminating,\u00a0and coating technologies\u00a0for the flexible packaging industry.\u00a0The Cerutti\u00a0acquisition\u00a0is in line with BOBST\u2019s strategic goal of\u00a0further consolidating\u00a0its technology and market\u00a0leadership\u00a0in the global gravure\u00a0printing\u00a0market.<\/p>\n

Gruppo Cerutti was founded in 1920\u00a0in Casale Monferrato,\u00a0in the northwest\u00a0of Italy,\u00a0and\u00a0grew into\u00a0a world-renowned\u00a0manufacturer\u00a0of\u00a0rotogravure printing presses for packaging,\u00a0publishing,\u00a0and specialty printing\u00a0and converting equipment.\u00a0Through\u00a0this\u00a0acquisition,\u00a0the Bobst\u00a0Group\u00a0adds to its\u00a0assets\u00a0the Cerutti\u00a0brand, the\u00a0Cerutti\u00a0intellectual property rights and all\u00a0Cerutti\u00a0intangible assets.\u00a0Thirty\u00a0Cerutti\u00a0ex-employees will\u00a0join\u00a0Bobst Italia\u2019s\u00a0personnel\u00a0at the company\u00a0site\u00a0in\u00a0San Giorgio Monferrato.<\/p>\n
