{"id":64258,"date":"2019-07-31T06:05:18","date_gmt":"2019-07-31T04:05:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.converter.it\/rotoloni-regina-green-light-for-new-paper-packs\/"},"modified":"2021-06-22T17:20:09","modified_gmt":"2021-06-22T15:20:09","slug":"rotoloni-regina-green-light-for-new-paper-packs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.converter.it\/en\/rotoloni-regina-green-light-for-new-paper-packs\/","title":{"rendered":"Rotoloni Regina, green light for new paper packs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>The new line, named Rotoloni Regina Eco, is added to the traditional product range and it represents a further contribution of Gruppo Sofidel in favour of a sustainable development<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-30898\" src=\"https:\/\/www.converter.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/2-rotoloni-Regina-300x270.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"270\" \/>A new line by Rotoloni Regina is arrived at Italian GDO sale points starting from the month of July: <strong>Rotoloni Regina Eco<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThe line is added to the traditional range and it represents a new contribution of <strong>Gruppo Sofidel in favour to environmental sustainability.<br \/>\n<\/strong>Rotoloni Regina Eco have <strong>the same quality product<\/strong> that Italians have been learning to love for 30 years, but they are packaged with a <strong>new pack in kraft paper<\/strong> \u2013 vegetal material and so renewable, biodegradable and easily recyclable \u2013 replacing the classical polyethylene film, and they\u2019re produced exclusively <strong>using electric energy coming from renewable sources<\/strong>, made at Sofidel establishments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRotoloni Regina keep looking to the future,\u201d says Philippe Defacqz, Sofidel Line of Business Director \u2013 Consumer Brand. \u201cIf their arrival on the market created a new Nielsen product category, the maxi-rolls, today \u00a0Rotoloni Regina Eco line wants to meet growing demand for attention to the environment by consumers and, above all, to support fight against plstaic pollution.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to Regina and the other major European Sofidel brands \u2013 Cosynel, Nalys, Le Tr\u00e8fle, Sopalin and KittenSoft \u2013 this contribution foresees to eliminate the equivalent of 600 tonnes of plastic a year from packaging destined to final use by the end of 2020. The strategy involves the use &#8211; replacement or accompaniment of existing products \u2013 of paper packaging.<br \/>\nThis is part of an overall goal set by the Sofidel Group: a 50% reduction in the use of conventional plastic in its production by 2030 (compared to 2013), which is equivalent to the elimination of over 11,000 tons of plastic released onto the market every year.
