Konica Minolta announces the launch of a new Flexo optional printing unit for its AccurioLabel<\/a> printing systems with the aim to allow in line production in of white and other colors. Presented for the first time as overprinting unit at Labelexpo just over a year ago, the retrofit option will allow label converters to make grow their digital solutions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"Developed with the Danish production partner Grafisk Maskinfabrik A \/ S (GM), the Flexo printing unit can be integrated with Konica Minolta’s AccurioLabel190 or AccurioLabel230 toner-based label printing systems.<\/strong><\/em>
\nAfter successful tests, the new Flexo printing unit is now available. It is perfect for label converters who are looking for a complete hybrid solution to complement high-end digital printing systems.
\nThe Flexo printing unit for AccurioLabel uses standard flexographic inks. In combination with the already available overprinting kit, it \"\"provides perfectly registered inline overprinting of white or any other colour, which will open doors to a wider range of print applications such as printing on clear substrates.
\nThe Flexo Printing Unit comprises an unwinder, web guide, a complete flexo printing station, UV curing system, an output NIP and a touch control panel.\u00a0\u00a0 The new option is smoothly integrated into the AccurioLabel operational concept in order to maintain its ease-of-use. All AccurioLabel presses also benefit from AccurioPro Label Impose software that works seamlessly and provides optimized media usage, avoiding potential waste of label substrates.<\/p>\n
