GRAF COLOR OPTS FOR DURST RHO 700 PACK EQUIPPED WITH A NEW CORRUGATED BOARD PRINTING FUNCTION
“90% of our in-house production is signed by Durst digital technology”, says Costantino Fidanza proudly. He is the owner of Graf Color, a company based in Montesilvano (Pesaro) that was established 18 years ago as a photolithography, but 5 years ago switched to digital printing. “We are specialized in any application which can be carried out with digital printing, such as display stands, exhibition set-ups, staging, billboards, posters, banners and many other solutions, belonging to our business range”, adds Fidanza.
It is a versatile enterprise aiming at supporting companies and meeting all their communication requirements by developing highly creative and innovative solutions, which is undoubdtedly an ambitious goal. “We intend to propose innovative and forefront ideas enabling our customers to make the difference and to make a name for themselves on the huge communication market”, continues the owner of Graf Color. “But this is not enough. Our company policy is also based on other essential values, such as quality and promptness. We have been using digital technology for many years, since it enables us to deliver our orders with more flexibility and to develop short runs - up to 1.000 units - at competitive prices. We met Durst on occasion of a market-research, which we had carried out in order to identify a technology capable of ensuring highest quality and speed. I can say that, after analysing all the decisive factors for the choice of a new printing system, which should have become the technological drive of our activity, we realized that Durst, based in Südtirol, could ensure us all of them. We were received warmly and guided with availability in the choice of a system capable of meeting our production and application needs. Moreover, the after-sales assistance service was impeccable”.
The flatbed UV machine Durst Rho 700 enables you not only to print on corrugated board, but also to process any types of material, including rigid and reel-fed ones. Some of the most important jobs, carried out by Graf Color with Durst digital technology, include display stands, POP materials and shop-window set-ups for famous brands, such as Miss Sixty, Energy, Killah & Murphy and NYE. These projects have made Graf Color and Durst technology known throughout the world. In fact, the set-ups developed by Graf Color customize the shop-windows of these brand sales-points from Asia up to Europe, from Tokyo up to Paris. The materials being used are manifold, from forex board up to wood, and not only. Also Fater Group belongs to Graf Color’s customers. For them, the company has developed cash display stands, displays and small benches being located inside the sales-points of GDO.
“Rho 700 is a quick and versatile machine”, adds Fidanza, “We have opted for the Pack version because we carry out a lot of jobs in the paper converting sector, although the press by Durst can process also other materials, which is one of its main features. In addition, thanks to the employment of the white with subsequent application of the other 4 colours, we can obtain excellent printing results. With Durst digital technology we also develop the mock ups of our projects, which can be checked by our customers, prior to the manufacturing stage. We are quite satisfied with this choice and, in future, we will purchase another Rho 700 Pack in order to increase our production and widen our business”.
